Today in Primary we were learning about Jesus and when he calmed the storm while at sea with his disciples for sharing time. The teacher asked if the children knew on which body of water they were sailing. After several wrong answers (someone said the Red Sea, which was followed by a chorus of "the Blue Sea", "the Green Sea", etc.) one little voice piped up with the correct answer -or at least as close as they were going to get today- and announced, "No, it was on the Sea of Gallery".

So I've posted one blog since I started this during my required computer class over two years ago, and have yet to publish a single post. I got to thinking today, though (a dangerous past time, I know...) and have decided to use this blog as a medium to post my thoughts and experiences as I begin and continue my career as an educator...

I realize that I'm new to this profession, and likely very naive in some of my theories and opinions at this point, but it will be interesting (maybe only to myself...) to chronicle how these thought change over the course of time and experience.
